DinoMatch: Mahjong Pairs is a tile-matching puzzle video game in which you must link matching mahjong tiles in a horizontal, vertical, or orthogonal line. The game is played between two players, with the goal of scoring more points than the opponent. Asian mahjong games include Chinese four-player table Mahjong (which has a simplified form known as Tiles), Japanese four-player Jogei, and Korean two-player Hanjang. Most versions require players to take turns removing one or more of their own matching sets before continuing; however, some variants have similar restrictions for all players. In order to connect tiles, players can use a limited set of special melds known as Daughters and Sons. Winning matches by combining comparable mahjong sets and removing opponents' combinations from the game results in new melds that must be matched again in order to score points.
