Checkers

Checkers is a traditional board game that dates back to roughly 3000 BC. It's simple, but it's a lot of fun! Checkers is known as Draughts in England, and it has several varieties all throughout the world. The game is played on an 8x8 checkerboard, which is similar to a chess board. Each player begins with 12 pieces, which they put on the dark squares of the board nearest to them. The goal of the game is to hop over all of your opponent's pieces and capture them all. You win when you remove all of your opponent's pieces off the board or when your opponent is unable to perform a move.
